A-SENSE SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ is implementing a project titled: Innovative technology for the production of asymmetric synthesis (S) of nicotine under measure 2.3 Pro-innovation services for enterprises, measure 2.3.2 Innovation vouchers for SMEs
Project goals:
The main goal of the implemented project is to implement innovation: process innovation in the form of a technology for the production of asymmetric synthesis (S) of nicotine (1 pc.), product innovation in the form of synthetic levorotatory nicotine, with a purity unattainable for natural nicotine (1 pc.), thanks to which the Beneficiary will be able to expand its product offer and increase the company’s production. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the Beneficiary will strengthen its position on the market of domestic producers of pharmaceutical-grade nicotine, and will also strengthen its role on the promising international market. The developed innovations in the field of technology for the production of asymmetric synthesis (S) of nicotine will allow the Beneficiary to compete with the new product on international markets, as well as to become independent from supplies of raw extract from countries where tobacco cultivation is widespread and price competitive.
Planned effects:
The effect of the project will be the development of a globally innovative technology for the production of synthetic levorotatory nicotine, with a purity unattainable for natural nicotine. The developed technology will allow the Beneficiary to introduce an innovative product in the form of synthetic levorotatory nicotine, free from contamination with alkaloids, nitrosamines and heavy metals. The beneficiary declares that end users will be involved in the process of developing and creating new, innovative technology.

On July 31, 2019, A-Sense Sp z o.o. signed an agreement with the Lublin Agency for Entrepreneurship Support for project financing under measure 3.7 of the RPO WL 2014-2020.
Project title: “Improvement of the competitiveness of A-sense Sp. z o. o. through the implementation of R&D works in innovative technology for the production of synthetic cannabidiol.
Project goal: Increasing the competitiveness of A-sense Sp. z o. o. on the domestic and foreign markets and increasing the productivity and efficiency of the enterprise by implementing the results of research and development work in the field of developing an innovative method of obtaining synthetic cannabidiol. Research and development work on the development of an innovative technology for the production of synthetic cannabidiol was carried out by the Applicant and scientists commissioned by the Applicant. The applicant has full rights to the results of R&D works. The result of the project will be the expansion of the company’s offer with synthetic cannabidiol, which has significant advantages over naturally obtained cannabidiol. The project includes the implementation of 1 task, under which the Applicant will purchase specialized laboratory equipment. The target group of this project is the Applicant’s company, as well as its current and future customers.

On October 9, 2018, A-Sense Sp z o. o. signed an agreement with the Lublin Agency for Entrepreneurship Support for project co-financing under measure 1.2 of the RPO WL 2014-2020.
Project title: “Development of an innovative technology for the production and purification of pharmaceutical-grade nicotine.”
Project goal: The main assumption of the research work will be to develop an innovative technology for the production of nicotine extract and then its purification on the created technological line. This technology will enable the production of pharmaceutical-grade nicotine for use in the medical industry.
A-Sense Sp. z o. o. implements a project on maintaining the ability to work throughout the entire period of professional activity, co-financed from the Social Insurance Fund:
“Improvement of occupational health and safety as a laboratory technician at A-Sense Sp. z o. o.”
Project goals and planned effects:
The main goal of the project is to improve the working conditions and safety of laboratory workers. In order to improve working conditions and safety, the Project includes the purchase of safety cabinets that will allow for the organization of chemical substances and mixtures, and the purchase of an electric forklift to reduce overload of the musculoskeletal system of employees.
